Biography

My name is Dominik Givens, Sr. born on October 14, 2019 in Flint, Michigan. I have two lovely and highly respected parents, Adam and Katrina Givens. I am the second child of 5 children: Adam Givens III, Tashara Givens, Ariel Givens, and Darius Givens. I’ve been happily married to my beautiful middle school sweetheart, Nephratiti Givens since 2016. Together, we currently have a 1 year-old son Dominik Givens, Jr. and another baby boy on the way. I grew up in a household that believes in God and doing what’s right. My spiritual roots begin at Prayer Garden Church located in Flint, Michigan, where we learned to sing, worship, and praise God in all ways possible to give Him all the glory. I was able to gain wisdom and knowledge as I grew and matured in Christ, becoming a minister in May of 2017.

During my high school years, (where I attended Flint Northwestern HS from 2007-2012), I played in plenty of sports I could get involved in. I played football, baseball, wrestling, and track & field. I pursued football in college where I attended Olivet College from 2012-2016. I was able to achieve some accolades in football. I was 2nd Team All-Conference Tight-End in 2014, 1st Team All-Conference Tight-End in 2015, MIAA (Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association) Division III Conference Champions in 2015, and National Division III Tight-End of the Week in 2015. I also played in the Division III Senior All Star Game. I also participated in some leadership programs at Olivet College. I joined the Olivet College S.A.A.C. (Student Athlete Advisory Committee) program where I had to represent the football team when we did community service or planned events. I was also one of the captains of the football team and participated in the football leadership program. I graduated from Olivet College in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Sports Management & Business Concentration. Now I am currently working various jobs to provide for my family. I could not have achieved all these accomplishments without God’s help.

I have faced and battled many trials in my life that I’ve had to overcome physically, mentally, and (most importantly) spiritually. Those obstacles helped mold me into the motivational speaker I am today through SCARS Uplift Association. I am willing to pray, give advice, motivate, and encourage anyone in need of spiritual healing, both mentally and physically. Through SCARS and with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
